Do you know what a fractal is?  According to Wikipedia a fractal is " a mathematical set that typically displays self-similar patterns".  This book, Mysterious Patterns is a wonderful and simple introduction to what a fractal is and how you can spot them in nature, along with some really cool photographs of fractals!  Find it in the New Non-Fiction section of the Children's Room.

Join us for a special Ballet Story Program presented by the Boston Ballet School; the perfect way for families to introduce young children to the magic and fun of ballet.
