Join us for a special Ballet Story Program presented by the Boston Ballet School; the perfect way for families to introduce young children to the magic and fun of ballet. New Board Books!

Come check out some of our newest books for the tiniest readers!  Colors and Opposites have simple shapes, text and animals.  Hello, Bugs!  and Hello, Animals! have eye catching black and white illustrations with small pops or metallic color as well as cute critters.  Some other new additions are holiday, family and animal themed.  Stop by and check out a few for the wee one in your life!

New Books!

Some  of the newest arrivals, mostly non-fiction that can be found on the new book display in the Children's Room.  Some subjects covered are Space, Inventions, Gardening and Food Production, Women's History, Wild Animals, and more!

Steve Blunt Concert Photos

Steve Blunt, award-winning kid's musician based in New Hampshire put on a concert for Peabody library goers on January 16th in the historic Sutton Room of the library.  Steve entertained us with songs played on the guitar, djembe drum and even the old brass!  Kids and grownups alike enjoyed dancing and singing along with shaker eggs and jingle bells. Steve will be coming back on March 20th at 10:30 AM for another concert.  Signup here!

Rainbow Loom 1/23/14

 If you enjoy making Rainbow loom bracelets and other projects, come join us in the Children's room this coming Thursday!  We will provide elastics, but kids are welcome to bring a loom if they have one.  There's no charge for the program, but signup is required as space is limited.  Click here to sign up!
