New Space for New Books!

New Space for New Books!

New non-fiction, fiction and picture books are now all shelved on the same case. All of the newest books can be found on the case along the wall by the tables.  Come in and browse and check out a new book to read or a whole bunch.  Keep an eye on this section for new books as they arrive in our collection.

Yeeee-haw!  Two fun new cowgirl books!

Little Red Hot by Eric Kimmel is a re-telling of the story of Little Red Riding hood set in the wild, wild west.  Instead of a red hood, Little Red Hot wears a red cowgirl hat and has a love of chili peppers.  She goes off to visit her grandma with a spicy hot pepper pie she baked herself.

Every Cowgirl Goes to School, by Rebecca Janni is a sweet story of a young cowgirl named Nellie Sue on the first day of school and her adventures and misadventures with show and tell and new friends.  Nellie Sue has been in a few other stories by Rebecca Janni, such as Every Cowgirl Needs Dancing Boots, Every Cowgirl Needs a Horse, and Every Cowgirl Loves a Rodeo.
